One of our favorite things to do each year is to go down to the Lake of the Ozarks over conference weekend. What is conference you ask? It is a weekend that we have an opportunity to hear from our church leaders. We don't attend church as we normally do, we hear from them via satellite, TV, internet, etc. Lucky for us my grandma and grandpa get BYU TV down at the lake so it works out perfect for us. In between session we would venture out and explore. On Sunday we went to Ha-Ha Tonka State Park. Even though I basically grew up at the lake in the summer as a young girl I've only been here 1 other time. There are natural bridges and caves that I never knew existed here. It is a beautiful area. The boys favorite was the "castle" that burned down in 1947. It is absolutely huge, or was huge, either way I can only imagine what it would be like if it were still standing, overlooking the spring and the lake.
