My little Bennett turned 6 on Saturday. He is really out of the little boy stage and entering the big boy stage. He had his first basketball game on Saturday and it was really funny to watch. One of the kids wouldn't let go of his fathers leg so the dad went up and down the court with his child glued to him. They were traveling and double dribbling all over the place and most of the kids thought defense and offense were the same thing. Bennett did really good though, hes a great dribbler and doesn't have too bad of a shot.
We had a birthday party for him on Friday night with some friends. It was a pizza party. We had the kids make their own pizzas, cupcakes and crafts and had a pinata. It was crazy...but Bennett had a good time.
