My very good friend Colette threw a little birthday lunch for myself, Kim and Cara. It was so nice to just hang out and let the kids run around and enjoy adult time. Thanks Colette for a wonderful afternoon. 
Eventhough it is absolutely FREEZING out, it was actually nice the ohter day so we sent the kids out to play. Harry loves his car and Bennett was laying on top playing with him. I love when they play together, to hear them giggle together....its my favorite sound in the entire world.
Our boys have always had hand me down bikes which we love but Max's bike was just run down and the chain fell off so we threw it away in the fall. When we sent the boys out the other day to play Bennett ran and got his bike out of the shed and Max came to the house crying. I forgot we threw his bike away (not that it would have mattered anyway, it was broke) and he said he didn't have a bike. He was really sad and my husband, Mr. Sensativity said, "Do you want to go with me and get you a new bike?" WHAT? I was thinking, we just had CHristmas for goodness sakes!!! Well, Max tried not to show his excitement so him and Marc were off. I told Marc to not get a cheap bike so he comes home with this.
REALLY?? Was this necessary? Max couldn't stop smiling and Marc felt good about it. Bennett say Max's new bike and said. "When can I go shopping with Dad?"

Those nice days are good therapy for everyone in the winter time, especially when there's an awesome new bike involved. Sorry we never did make it to the lake with you before we left Kansas. Hopefully we'll see you when you come to Idaho.
